Patchouli Essential Oil ( Pogostemon cablin ) has a thick dark yellow or orange with herbal fragrance . This oil blends well with sandalwood , cedarwood , geranium , clove , lavender , rose , orange blossom , bergamot myrrh , clary sage , and oriental - the type of oil . Reported to be a cell regenerator and an aphrodisiac . Unique among all the oil , either you love it or hate it . Widely used in cosmetic preparations , and as a fixative in soaps and perfumes .

Furthermore patchouli plants should be replaced new . Oil gained around 2-3 % of the raw material patchouli leaves . Time distillation requires 8 hours for each process . The system is very traditional process without any mixture of other materials , (pure oil distilled) .
